Registrars and students

Our practice is a training/teaching practice. Our registrars are fully qualified doctors and have a great deal of hospital experience. Registrars are attached to our practice for 12 months and patients find their fresh, enthusiastic approach adds to the health care we provide. The registrars are at all times supervised and are encouraged to seek advice when required from the practice partners.

When booking an appointment you may be asked if you would consult with one of the registrars. We are confident that they will give our patients modern, effective and caring treatment. Our registrar may wish to make a video recording of your consultation. This is to help assess and improve the registrar’s skills. Any recordings made will be treated confidentially. You are free to refuse permission for recording of your consultation if you wish. The choice is yours.

We are also fortunate to have medical students attached to our practice for short periods. With the patients consent they may consult with the partners and learn about general practice.
